April Sound Church is seeking a passionate and experienced Worship Leader to lead the 9 AM Traditional Service in spirit-led and Christ-centered worship. the future that God has for us. The Worship Leader will have a meaningful opportunity to foster genuine encounter with the Lord, incorporating the great hymns of faith, and bridging our ancient faith with the contemporary world.

Areas of Impact:

• Overseeing 9AM Service:

o   planning order of service, song selection, and liturgical elements

o   maintain, recruit, and schedule 9 AM worship volunteers (musicians, scripture readers, vocalists, etc)

o   leading practice for 9 AM worship team & choir

• Spiritual Leadership:

o   Lead an atmosphere of worship that fosters intimacy with and devotion to God, seeks to magnify and glorify Christ.

o   Lead with humility, passion, biblical integrity, and a heart for bridging our ancient Christian faith with today’s world.

• Help plan and execute special services

Compensation:

$200-$300 or more per week for approximately 5-7 hours of work, including Sunday service and preparation time.
